Lil Dicky – Pillow Talking

Of all rappers, Lil Dicky is the only one I can actually relate to (unfortunately Kanye and I don’t have a lot of similar life experiences). I wish more people could get past the joke-rapper label with him, because once they do they’ll see he’s as good as anyone on the radio right now, if not better.

Apple’s Still Apple

There’s been a lot of talk about whether Apple is still Apple (whatever that means). This article proves they are.

What do you do?

There are really only two options at this point. The first would be to suck it up and wait until the next-generation Mac Pros are ready to be announced, and suffer in silence while more and more people point to the current Mac Pro’s stagnation as proof that Apple is abandoning the Mac Pro market.

The second would be to bite the bullet and tell the world what your plans are, even though it’s your decades-long tradition — a fundamental part of the company’s culture — to let actual shipping products, not promises of future products, tell your story.

Apple chose the latter.

I don’t think that because of the new Mac Pro. I think that because they ignored decades of “precedent”, which shows they’re not stuck in their ways and still willing to innovate, even on a fundamental part of company culture.

John Mayer

Fun fact: I know how to play the guitar. It’s been a while (since high school), but this is one song I will never forget how to play.

Also, as far as I’m concerned, John Mayer’s guitar tone in this song is the pinnacle of what a guitar can sound like. Clean with a hint of creamy distortion = 🙏
